who knew that 6th graders were so smart???So during this season there have been multiple dupe methods that have broken the server's economy. Although I don't know all of the dupe glitches, I know some of them. At the start of the map, people could throw pearls at spawn, enter a duel, and collect all the loot from the duel. People like myro abused this glitch, and had basically unlimited pearls, gapples, p4, insta 2's, anything you can think of. A couple days ago, you there was another dupe that allowed you to get unlimited items from duels. To add on, there was a summer key dupe, and I heard that yesterday, someone was dropping stacks of summer and invaded keys at spawn. Furthermore, some how, people had sharp 1000's and were one tapping people. The sharp 1000's were most likely from one of Skeppy's videos, where he used a sharp 1000 and then died with it and didn't take it back from the player who got it. This shows how broken this map is and how we really need a reset.
Why do we need a reset? The economy is broken, if you haven't noticed. People are selling stacks of god apples and ender pearls on ah for really low prices, and people like Converging and Rhip have pv's of sharp 5's, and strengths. Resetting the map will remove all of these duped items, and balance the economy. It will also bring back players who have quit due to the duped items and a horrible map.
What can staff do to improve next map?
Add. More. Content. This is another reason that many people have been quitting. In MegaPvP's thread about the kitpvp reset, he specifically said, " We plan on giving KitPvP content updates throughout it's cycle before another full reset." Can someone please tell me a single thing that they have added since the beginning of the season? I've seen nothing new. Additionally, MegaPvP stated, "There are several things that will be worked on depending on community feedback; examples of these updates could be as small as team duels, self explanatory, dueling as a team against other teams for wagers or changes as drastic as knockback & kits, all dependent on community requests." Does it really take over 3 months to implement team duels, and different knockback? I mean I don't know how to code those things, but I'm pretty sure it doesn't take that long. There have been so many great suggestions that should've been implemented into kitpvp a long time ago. For example, a few months ago @Wherry made a thread about a clan system, and you can find this thread here. This would've been a great addition to this map of kitpvp. It is something new that would bring more people to invaded, new and old. I don't understand why it has not been added, whether staff are just lazy, or its just simply too hard to code, I don't know. But what staff should take from this, is listen to the community.
Another thing that staff can do to improve next map is make the map better. In MegaPvp's thread he says, "Majority of the mountains are behind a barrier, you will not be able to climb them, however there are trails on the edges of the border that travel all around the map." I can find 3 mountains that are not behind a barrier, and I know many people climb these mountains. PLEASE REMOVE THE MOUNTAINS. It is almost impossible to catch people who are climbing up a mountain because they simply just keep bowing you down and running away. The only way you can catch them is by pearling on them, or if they just suck and miss all their bow shots. Another thing that should be removed is the water and lava caves. Literally, whenever I start beating someone in a 1v1, they either run to the lava cave and burn all their loot, or run into the water caves and camp in the water, and it is impossible to kill them. Although, if you wanted to keep the water, you could add depth strider to the boots in one of the kits, or put it as an enchantment in warp shop. This would be cool because it would allow people actually pvp in water, instead of just camping in it. Also, don't just recreate the last map by adding a few trees and buildings, please make the maps different from each other, or bring back old maps. The ravine map was amazing. I think a lot of people would be glad to see the ravine map brought back!
Something else that should be done to improve next map, is make sure there are little to no bugs. You see how whenever you add a new feature there is always some bug that is game breaking? You have to fix that. Something that you guys could do is have beta testers who try out the new kitpvp server. The beta testers could be people who bought ranks, or people who have been part of the server for a long time. This would allow you guys to find bugs that would be game breaking, and then fix them before people can abuse them. This is something that I really think the staff should implement.
Things that staff are doing right?
Recruiting the new manager. The new manager is amazing. He is what every staff on Invaded should act like. Blacklist and ban appeals take much less time to be responded to. Instead of taking like 2 months to have your appeal accepted/denied, it takes a few days. I also find that staff are much more active online, banning hackers, muting chat offenders, and much more. Some staff are also taking time to interact with the community, like hosting events. This is what Invaded was meant to be like.
Tell me if I missed anything and I will edit the thread.
Thanks for taking your time to read my thread.
Edit 1: I am making suggestions in the suggestions tab on the forums just to try to get the staff to see this and maybe implement this to KitPvP
Edit 2: Add top kill payouts back. This would bring many players back and to the server because it brings a more competitive edge to the server. I don't know why you guys took top kill payouts away; it was a dumb move. There is no reason that you guys should have removed it. Skeppy literally does $1000 events and just gives it a way. There's no way Skeppy doesn't have money to spare for Invaded, his own server.

I've seen this a lot, and the general consensus is that it would bring back a lot of players. I see this as a very good idea, and i've already went and suggested it to higher-ups. At this time no decision has been made but i've done my best to suggest it and add reasons as to why it would be great to bring back.Edit 2: Add top kill payouts back. Starting with this, we've been looking very heavily into the duping situations. The duels dupe has since been patched, as well as the summer crate key dupe, and a few others that we've been able to figure out. I understand the frustration with this, as one dupe glitch could potentially ruin the economy for the entire season. The difficult part comes when we know of the dupe, but we don't know HOW it's being done. I can assure you me and Neon have quite literally been testing things like this for hours, looking for possible methods, and everything; not to mention other staff who've helped him and all the work he's put into it. The most I can tell you on this is that they are aware of how much its ruined the economy and they're looking through their options at this time.
It's understandable that Neon has a very large workload, although I would like to know whether or not Neon is working on new features for KitPvP. Hopefully you guys can find another/a few more developers to help lessen Neon's workload. As for not adding many content updates throughout the cycle, it's been difficult for a few reasons:
- The constant issues that arise (Duping, God Mode Glitches, 1 Tapping, Crate Keys) have been a burden that they have to take on.
- Optimization and maintenance of all 3 servers, including the survival reset that happened recently and the skyblock one that also took place after kits.
- Major Workload for just one developer, i'm sure you noticed they opened developer applications and thats something they're looking into at this time, not as easy as it seems to just hire a developer just like that, however I do agree it should be done soon.
While these aren't necessarily excuses, I can very well see your point and that's something that should definitely be worked on ASAP. Us staff have brought this up to Management as well so I can assure you it will be thought about and looked into. I've heard several very good community suggestions as you noted above, and we've been discussing all of this as potential options to be added to the server. We do listen to what you say, and recently we've been doing our best to try and make your voices heard, I can promise you that.
I'm sure that you guys are aware of the criticism, but the reason I added the part about the mountains and water, is because last season there were countless people complaining about mountains, and as I said in my post, Mega said that most of the mountains were behind barriers, when in reality, almost all of them are within the barriers. I don't understand why they didn't remove the mountains at the start of the season; the least they could have done is made it less aids for us to chase people. No excuse here, we've all heard the backlash about the map. Not much I can tell you here aside from the fact that they are WELL aware of the criticism, and are looking into what they can do. Can assure you they've heard all of it.
I agree that it shouldn't be people who have a rank, and that game breaking bugs could be found but not reported. This is why I suggest that you make people who you trust beta testers. Maybe long members of the community, or past staff members. If you do not agree that players should be beta testers, at least have staff test the kit pvp before it is released to the public. While this may seem like a good idea, it's not very practical for a few reasons:
- Giving anyone beta tester solely because they have a rank wouldn't bode well for very obvious reasons.
- Adds the potential of game breaking bugs being found, but not reported so they can be exploited during the season.
- Need testers with experience, who know exactly what to test and how to do it so these bugs can be located quickly. Not any player can come on and find a bug within a few days.
Overall while this isn't a bad idea, it isn't something they would look into doing. I can possibly see it being done for either applicants or staff members, so that's something I'll be sure to ask management and see what they have to say. Thank You.

I believe that the staff are working on things behind the scenes, although I believe it would be better if the community knew some of the things you guys are working behind of the scenes. To conclude, they are working hard behind the scenes right now, even though that can't really be seen at this current moment in time. Like I stated when I began this response, I ask you to believe everything I said above and put a little faith in this process. I'll be leaving this open for responses, thank you for bringing this to our attention again.
wait when did he remove it from his own list and what is his own list?Dont think a higher up will respond because skeppy literally deleted his OWN server from his server list. Zelk and mega are too busy with appeals and wont take the time to respond to this. Harry is new and maybe wont understand idk. The admins are also busy never seen them on a thread before.
because he watches his favorite youtuber skeppy!!!!!!!wait when did he remove it from his own list and what is his own list?
