Armor Durability

If your diamond armor is on low durability and for example its protection 1, then the protection 1 will not work, it will be like a diamond armor with no enchantments right?

Durability doesnt change the defense level it just means your armor gon break

The durability of the armor doesn't change the overall protection level it has, sure it might break so it will lower your overall protection, but when it is for example 30/300 and its prot1, it doesn't have the same effect as the protection "level" as an unenchanted diamond piece.

As others said, lower durability means your armour will break soon, the protection level doesn't really change
