Do you really just learn nothing from player complaints about mountains, caves and closed spaces? Because this map is filled with them, even next to the spawn drop down. If you try making the argument "oh theres lots of open space for clan fights to happen" thats just not how it works, clans dont just organize themselves to go to a selected part of the map and pvp there, the fights take place all over the map as players constantly bow boosting around trying to escape, which eventually leads to either being bow spammed in a mountain or getting 6v1d inside of a cave.
(Mountains and fence trees that lower FPS the second you get close to there, spawn is basically surrounded in mountains, etc.)
The map looks great visually, cool halloween theme, but for the purpose of KitPVP and how its played in invadedlands, its full of what players complained previous seasons
 
Earlier I forgot my airpods at home when I went to school, it was pretty upsetting and I kinda figured I wouldn't have music while I was at school. So I'm driving to school (the drivers here are so shitty) I go to my first class as usual and then in my 2nd class, I found my airpods in my backpack!

Unfortunately it sounds more of a build management decision and the builders should not be blamed at all as they're only following instructions and working a lot on maps

This is most likely the case
On most build teams important decisions like that are normally decided by whoever is a managing the builders
though builders generally get alot of creative liberty normally, for things like that it’s not for us to decide

builders just have a job to do, and they don’t really have much control over what management decides is best, besides just the average suggestions like changing the specific block palette for something, ect (not sure if that’s how it works here but thats from personal experience from the servers I’ve built for)
the overall job is to just please whoever we’re working for :^)

you realize how bad the map would look right? like last map was terrible because it was flat and had no detail

Last map had plenty of cool stuff, and im not saying there cant be ANY mountains or anything like that, im just saying not to put mountains all over the place when players are known to dislike them

this map is really good for kiting

We build the maps, we are given specifications and we build using those specifications.
The slabs were a problem with connection to the server, causing players to lag back and get stuck in them. Mountains, caves and closed spaces have been complained about for as long as i can remember.

Even if the map is spacious in some places, whats the point when all thats gonna happen is youre gonna get 6v1d on the way to those enclosed spaces, not being able to get out because you get stuck in between the mountains

A map dosnt need to be flat entirely, just not bombared with mountains and things players wont strongly dislike (as has happened last seasons)

And yeah, it was my bad, i shouldnt have hated on the team as a whole, they do really have talents for building

Again, a flat map doesn't fit into the aesthetic, and hardly any kitpvp servers have "flat" maps, which defeats the purpose of the build team. There is plenty of space to pvp in.

Again, you cannot cater to very specific niches, that is just impossible; Very little people actually get 6v1ed and it's very hard to implement a feature that only benefits a couple of people, and comes with heavy downsides. All I have to say for this is to simply find a way to not let this happen, although that is easier said than done.
