ik, its just that every staff app requirement ive seen says you need xp, so i just tried to make jokeInvaded is a massive server, it is very important that you have at least some previous moderating experience before attempting to moderate such a massive community - it's just not possible to keep up without having prior experience![]()
You see, another way to get experience is from other things. Back in the day I used to be an OP in AIM chatrooms where people used to flood them with bots all the time and we had to ban them. In real life I have Process Assistant experience at Amazon as well as problem solver experience (namely where I can tell what FBA merchants are scamming or trying to defraud us) but, the only thing I lack is the ambition to do it and the tenure.ik, its just that every staff app requirement ive seen says you need xp, so i just tried to make joke![]()
okDamn, lots of toxicity in this thread![]()
if u get mod I'm quitting the serverPossibly. I don't get sarcasm, that's why I add the [ironic] part to help others understand when I'm sarcastic.
he has actual experience=if u get mod I'm quitting the server
What if you have real life leadership experience?Ignore all of these people, they do not have a clue what they are talking about, let me give you the best advice. To become a staff member on the server, you must first understand your role as one. Staff members are people who players look up to for support and they put their trust in you hoping it does not get broken, it is your duty to help the server while also avoiding anything that can break that trust between you and the players. Let me give the most important tips ever. If a player breaks any offense, just blacklist them because they are causing damage to the server and you do not ever want to see them, hacking is a sin. Hackers should go to Jail irl and you can help by blacklisting them and making them suffer. If they use a VPN or blacklist evade, I suggest you call it quits and resign to save yourself from the trouble.
dats the problem right. i applied on a server with like 40 people and they asked me if i had atleast 2 years of past staff experienceWork on smaller servers that do not need previous staff experience and slowly build your way up with bigger servers.
why are you being toxic to a guy whos only sharing his experienceshut up mini mod
you probably haven't even been staff on a server with over 10 players
but aren't you literally a mini mod on another server?shut up mini mod
you probably haven't even been staff on a server with over 10 players
What does that have to do with anything lol, also you'll be playing for quite a while then.if u get mod I'm quitting the server
I got manager on a kit server 2 weeks after applying. You just need to find the right server to start out on.like how tf is that gonna work
edit: yall cant get a joke now ok
Being mod on a discord server means nothing. I am currently mod on a discord server with 3000 people. And I have never listed that applying for any minecraft servers. Modding discord servers really does not transfer to minecraft, or any game for that matter.Dec 5th - around end of March (server was sold). Skipped interview stage and went straight to mod, soon promoted to senior mod. So shut up, randoms.
I wasn't a discord mod, I was a discord and server mod. Both in the server and in the discord, not just discord.Being mod on a discord server means nothing.
