Link please, I heard the Tomahawk Max was good, a bunch of Youtubers recommended it, it's also compatible with 3rd gen Ryzen without having to flash BIOS, so I like the convenience of that.

Don't get a tomahawk at all, for the max performance (for mc most def) take a b450 gaming (any type just make sure its gaming) it beats tomahawks benchmarksMSI Global

It sounds like they're pretty closely spec'd:

I mean, the gaming series is better than tomahawk, but in things like power phases that if you don't want to do overclock are not necessary to be the best

Damn, if I was going to go crazy on one part, it'd probably be the motherboard, hopefully the tomahawk works well enough for me then
Haven't gotten everything yet, the only parts I've received were the power supply and SSD lol

I stongly reccomend you to buy higher frequency rams and a 2K60 monitor instead of a FullHD144
3200 isn't too bad, I'd be okay with anything about 3000
The monitor I'm getting is going to be 1080p60, the build is overkill, but I can't tell too much of a difference between 1440 and 1080, as well as 60 vs 144 fps. I'd rather have a cool & quiet build than something that looks a little sharper/smoother.
