The Lack of Staff and it's Negative Effects

Most staff are on KitPvP due to the amount of hackers, toxicity, spam and chat offenses. Also staff have lives to. They need to eat, walk, sleep and live their life. Staff are trying their best to keep Invaded safe.
i understand they are real people too. it just seems like they don't care due to their lack of presence. but maybe they're just online when I'm not idk

i know obv but they cant moderate mid-day at like 4pm?
you know that... not every staff member is american, right? 4pm pst for the european staff members is night

vanish : p i promise that they do care

not really responding to the rest of the stuff mentioned because i agree with katykat and friends, and i'm not gonna repeat what they've already said

These debates bore me now.

Staff are on more than you think but it's near on impossible to have someone on all 3 servers 24/7.

I logged on earlier to check up on survival and saw there was 50 players on, I asked why and someone in chat said lag spikes/ crashes.

I messaged a mod.

I got a reply within seconds saying it was being worked on.

I'd presume it will get fixed ASAP, although I'd presume all you Minecraft server experts could fix it in seconds.

The end.
what about dividing the staff team onto each server individually ? kit pvp already gets priority why not at least put a few staff members on survival ? also, people in survival msg'd mods and they seemed to never reply. maybe, they know you more and replied faster to u individually ? anyways it can end here if u want

if you were to divide the staff team into each server by choice, then most will probably have kit as their first choice, and then some would have to be put on survival or skyblock despite not wanting to be there. honestly seeing as mods don't get paid, i think telling them to be on a gamemode that at least some of them won't want to be on still won't have that great of a result. i say this because if there's less mods on survival, then it's probably because the staff prefer the other servers. that's still an issue in itself, but the mods and admins are all *volunteers* (i can't stress enough how often people forget that!) and they reserve the right to decide which server they want to play. it's still important to mod the other servers too, though. if survival is under-moderated, then it definitely needs to be looked at more and hopefully they'll do that.

also message staff on discord if you want help. in-game chat moves too fast and has a limited character amount that usually isn't enough to explain things properly on either side. i honestly dk any mods that respond to pm's in-game because of that. all of them just say to dm them on disc

that's a very fair point and I see what you mean how bad that would be for the staff team so u right

also, I've messaged many mods in the past but they never reply so that's why I don't do it anymore

it depends on how you message them, if you start out with 'hi' or try to have a conversation without getting to the point, or saying "i need help" or "I have a question" without fully explaining in the same message, they most likely assume you're triyng to waste their time

if you need help, i know that lumboc will answer dms as soon as possible as long as you fully explain the issue, but i'm pretty sure he mains kit

Hello!

I apologize if you feel that staff members are negligent to the survival community. I can tell you none of the staff members actively try to avoid survival just for the sake of not logging on. We all care about all of the game modes on the server, and we want to help out where we can.

That being said, all of us have busy lives. Lots of people mentioned we cannot be everywhere all the time, and we recognize that. That’s why Player Reports are a feature on the forums. If you see someone not being punished after breaking the Communication Rules, you are free to report them. We won’t catch everything all the time, but we can certainly review what players catch. That being said, other players breaking the rules is not a free pass for you doing the same thing. Which leads me to...

Skipping past you complaining about your punishments here since I can see what you did wrong and your post is misleading about it. So... that’s that.

Finally, you mention DMing every staff or something to the effect of trying to contact staff about lag machines. But I have yet to receive a single solitary message from you about any of these issues. If you’re going to want to get staff online to fix things, at least try and DM more people about issues. Time zones, personal schedules, or just being busy in different parts of the server will impede someone’s ability to respond to a situation right away, that’s why when something as catastrophic as a lag machine needs to be reported, you DM people until a dev comes to see what’s up. And as I said, I didn’t see a single message about it.

Hope that clears some things up for you. If you have any more questions, you may DM me on Discord: didgo#0008

Locked.
