Why Kitpvp Died...and how I think we can save it

To be honest, what do you expect? KitPvP has been a game mode for years now and the general Minecraft community has moved on from it. Other servers are making custom made / unique game modes to pull in more players, as well as trying to make their server anti pay to win. Unfortunately, InvadedLands is years behind other servers and trying to revive a game mode that's already had years of uptime is nearly impossible. Furthermore, trying to add in unique features to the game mode would only result in PvP related updates. This in turn doesn't draw in players who are more focused on chatting, chilling, playing events and rather maintains the current player base rather than expanding it.

The only logical way to revive the KitPvP game mode would be for a sort of "paradigm shift" and trying to shift away from the traditional PvP style. The only problem is that after almost four years or so of repetitive gameplay, an outdated rank & store system, would put a huge strain on development as trying to maintain all of that while making a huge shift is extremely difficult. The player base will never in my opinion truly have an immense expanding and the occasional resets would only stabilise the current player base.

if your trying to relate to me i joined 2018. If your gonna remove the rights of people from 2019-2020 then thats just straight up mental. All players deserve to do what they want. Play the server or not. Either way this year is when invaded started blowing up af and got a ton of new players. That means more competition etc. Many people came from 2019 or 2020. Taking away their privileges' for playing a game is messed up dude. Never suggest that.

WE as a community must fight to save invadedlands from death! whether it is convincing people to play fair or play fair yourself or be less toxic or anything. we can save this server as a playerbase and community I Believe but it cant just be me, help me save invadedlands kitpvp!

If we do a punish reset so all OG’s come back and ban all of the toxic kids thats like 12, maybe. It will also help actually muting Skeppy stans and make the owner actually upload. Well punish reset might not be the best idea, but I would like to see what would happen.
To be honest, we are too low on staff. And half of the staff barely is online and does nothing. Doesn’t really help the fact that 11 year olds apply. Besides, the new staff we have COUGH COUGH SXTAN COUGH COUGH does either nothing or just abuses. Tbh the server is filled with 2020 newgens calling themselves “OG” and being super toxic to “random nons”. Me myself have been like this, but that’s because of getting mad over cleaning. But the main problem is indeed bugs and that the owner gives no shit about the server anymore. Now he’s on 1.16 and is best friends with Bad, which nobody likes.

not dead, most ppl will come back next season just that this one is dogshit

No one even plays pvplands anymore because skeppy never does events. Skeppy never does videos on invadedlands anymore at all as well. Therefore the community slowly starts dying without the lack of players. I would actually probably try to convince staff to get in contact with skeppy to provide more content for invadedlands. However it sound so ridiculous and I doubt very much skeppy wouldnt listen or even get in contact with the staff. As csyre said above that reset is soon. With this SOME people may come back due to a new map and everyone wants to be there etc. Because everyone knows on the first week of a reset of a game on invaded EVERYONE comes to look around. Some people might have second thoughts that have left a while ago and may return. Another reason is because of the map they made this season. Tbh I don't like it than most maps but i'd say its still pretty good. Last season is when invadedlands reached its full peak and it went downhill so fast as if it was 1k players to 200-300. All invaded needs right now is skeppy and that isn't a joke.

You are very correct.. I used to play invaded 2016 - 2017 and I found it fun, I got top rank and had plenty of fun, as the 11 year old that I was entertaining such a child isn't to difficult I suppose. I remember you back then, I'm not to sure if we're still mates but, what's up :)
