The Remaining Applicants & The Toxicity Towards Them

“Particularly true ever since staff apps opened”
Hey, we have discussed this already. I have been extremely active, mainly on survival, ever since August. Pretty much the entire survival community can attest to that. I became more active on the forums after staff applications opened as I've been working to improve myself. There is absolutely nothing wrong with trying to be the best you can be.

Also, you keep saying I'll "disappear" if I get denied. I was denied last season and remained just as active, if not even more active. Stop making and spreading false assumptions just because you personally don't know me.

You're talking drivel. She was active on survival way before staff apps opened. LIke I said she came on and stayed on a week after me in the beginning of august.

You're mad that some of the people you know didn't get staff. I get that, I really expected Laylim to get staff. But we don't control what the managers say so stop putting the blame on the other candidates.
How about all those posts she made if they are asking for specifically STAFF‘s help?
You know as well as I do that some questions can be answered even if you're not staff. It's the ones asking specifically for staff that are attention seekers. Like are you actually mad somebody is trying to help someone else? In my mind mini modding was trying to control the threads and not being helpful. Or responding to the threads with absolutely nothing valuable to add and just repeating what has been said over and over again. Trying to be helpful is not minimodding. Being active is not mini modding. Get yourself straight. Instead of whining like most of the kit community will do and is obviously already doing. Show some maturity and give the new trainees a chance ffs. It can only help with your build applications.

No blame was put on other candidates. Hardly the mini mod helped the actual person, and you and I know that.

I’ve seen both of your legacy accounts, none of them have more than 25 messages. These aren’t false assumptions, however the truth.

This will be my last message to you on this subject as no matter how many times I say it, you don't seem to understand. Ill try to simplify it for you.

I have been incredibly active on the server. This has been the case since early August.

Prior to staff applications opening, I was
not very active on the forums. This is what I have been working to improve.

You seem to be grouping the two together. Activity on the
forums does not equate to activity on the server. I have been extremely active in one aspect and have been trying to be better concerning my activity in the other aspect. This should, if anything, be viewed as a good thing as I'm showing that I'm willing to, and have the determination to, improve myself and my actions for the betterment of the server.

I hope this has helped you understand. Have a nice day :)

They don't choose people because they're nice, there are many other qualities that are essential. And because Neptune isn't **AS** well-known as some, we have no idea if she qualifies.

That is I believe some people's concerns.
This is a good point to bring up. However, you have to keep in mind that those who are still pending have to qualify to even be where they are right now. Multiple staff members that are favoured among the community were not known at all, or barely known, prior to becoming members of the staff team. Things like this require time. If you don't know whether or not we are qualified, you need to give us a chance to show you that we are, as you have done with many staff members in the past.

You're still calling all the candidates mini mods ;) . You're implying that the only reason they're being considered is because the mini modding. I don't think Neptune mini modded at all and she has been helpful to some. I don't know for the others so I'm not gonna say anything about them. Don't blind yourself just because you don't know them and wanted others for staff. See how it works out first instead of calling people out already without giving them a chance. It's called being mature. You claim to be it on your build apps. Maybe back up what you say you are.

SInce when were they helpful before staff apps? Im stating points which does not make me immature. Let @Neptune888 Speak for herself.

100% dude, i dont understand why change is such a bad thing

I wanted to make a post addressing the recent hostility towards those who are still pending for staff applications.

I understand that some of you are quite upset that some good applicants were denied. I, too, was hoping for certain people like Laylim, Redot, and James to be accepted. However, the managers ultimately decided that they weren't going to accept them this season. It sucks, but they should use this as a way to improve upon themselves and come back as an even better candidate next season. This isn't to say there is anything wrong with them now - from what I've seen and heard, they're all great people. I'm just trying to look for the positives in a not-so-great situation. Everyone who was still pending these past couple weeks were, for the most part, good applicants. If you were denied, that doesn't necessarily mean that you "weren't qualified". If you were one of the applicants still recently pending, chances are there were simply one or two minimal issues with you or your application that can be worked on and fixed for next season.

As for the applicants who are still in, the "oldgens" and majority of the KitPVP community in general shouldn't assume that they are a bad batch just because they aren't well-known on KitPVP. If they are still pending, it means that the managers have deemed them good enough to qualify for a staff position. Being well-known on kit is not a requirement for staff. Keep in mind that some of the most popular staff members we have now (I'm not going to name names) were so-called "randoms" before becoming staff. You just have to be patient and get to know them.

Speaking of the "oldgens" on this server, many of you seem to have a fear of change. I understand you grew familiar with the people who were on the server at the same time as you. Welcoming new people who you've never met before can be uncomfortable at first, but you have to push through it. Change is an inevitable part of everything that we all need to adapt to at some point or another. If you find yourself becoming angry about new players joining, ask yourself this: "Why am I angry?" I believe that meeting more people who enjoy the same thing(s) you do should be a positive experience, not a negative one. If it's a negative experience for you, what can you do to make it more positive?

I'm well aware that I will be receiving some rather toxic replies to this post, so I'm going to say it now: If your reply is simply a toxic insult or attempt to push my buttons, I'm just not going to respond to you.

If you have an issue with me or what I've said in this post, please don't hesitate to start a conversation with me or message me on discord.
I appreciate all of you, even if you've been toxic to me. Everyone deserves a second chance and it's never too late to change the way you treat those around you. Being kind is not a negative personality trait.

Love you all ❤

My name has been brought up several times from diffrent people.
I really appreciate everything that has been said about me but I did do something wrong and now I have to face the consequences. Even though I was defending someone it's still against the rules and hopefully I can learn from my mistake.
Thank you for all the support from you all.

I know this thread isn't about me though and i'm sure that alot of the applicants who are still pending are qualified. There's always a chance that some will mess up if they are promoted and they may do something bad but only time can tell. Everyone still in will be meeting the requirements hence why they're not denied, I don't think you guys deserve all the hate.

Also Neptune, you're 100% going to get it and i'm excited for when you do!
