bb i know what it's in regards to, dont fret
being known on here is a good thing. then people know if you're someone to root for during staff app seasons, or not. for example, most people have never heard of neptune before staff apps opened, but almost everyone has heard of laylim or redot or james or twisst or velo, the list goes on and on. again, tho, it's not "fame," it's just being active enough on the server to the point where people know you.
no one is saying that just because you're well known you should be staff. i will gladly go through a list of people who are well known that i know DAMN well no one's rooting for them to get staff lmao

"That's just how it goes" seems to always be the excuse. Why doesn't anyone ever stop to think about why they're behaving in such a toxic manner? Yes, KitPVP is a competitive game. However, you should still be able to play without getting exceedingly angry. If you can't play competitive games without understanding that you should still be nice to people, you shouldn't play competitive games. If your only reasoning towards being toxic is that "that's just what happens on here", why isn't anyone working to change that? It honestly isn't hard to just be kind.

Nobody is blaming the applicants, I agree with that. However, people are taking it out on them. When the applicants have nothing to do with the managers' decision(s), there is no reason for anyone to take out their frustration on the applicants.

I mean if you support people like embox and mcdonalds for staff because you know them then I don't really find your common sense to be all that good. I would love to see embox get accepted as builder cause he's a good one, but as mod yikes... Mcdonalds is also kinda two faced I mean, I was surprised seeing him be kinda nice to people but then as soon as he got denied he's back to what I expect from him.

as being valid. It's natural to root for your friends. This doesn't mean they're automatically the best choice.

History repeats itself so any person that is not a known kit player and isn't in our little community is going to be a mini mod and an abuser and will probably server hop if they get demoted and break the discord. That's the thing your points kinda imply. Again unless you can see the future just see what happens first. You can make yourself feel good all you want if it does come true. But I would hope we can still be a bit optimistic in people cause again abusing depends on your personality. Now if you don't know the persons you don' t know their personality and if they will make the right choices, kinda obvious. I already stated that I didn't want him as staff and made sure staff knew about him and what he does. Despite what you might think, the world does not revolve around you, nor does every one of my actions. Please get that through your head.

While I have said things about VEL00 publicly, that doesn't mean that staff sees it 100% of the time. It also might come off to some as "starting drama," a term that you are very familiar with. If I wanted staff to know I would have had to contact them regardless, so getting mad at me for doing something privately makes no sense, sorry.
