This server is bad, here's why.

you can literally calculate how much the invaded shop makes in the span of 24 hours, just by checking the "most recent donations" tab all the time, oops.
I meant the amount of money each staff member manager and above receive from their donations

ik lmao i was joking. i was just pointing out that no one would actually do that cause we all got things to do lmao
i mean i could do it when i have LITERALLY NOTHING to do and just report back to you, since quarantine now is a thing and i will be bored for a month lmaooooooo

This reminds me of something. Star Wars. The series used to be GREAT until they killed Solo. Now is it trash with Rei and that other idiot who idk the name of because I hate the show now and don't watch it. It is way too overhyped, just like this server.
You've commented about starwars; Now I'm intrigued.
While I agree that there are always an improvement to make on InvadedLands, some comment you made are, in a way, one sided. Therefore I'll comment based on the facts and experiences I gained as a former administrator here.

- 6 months to make 2 new additions. 1pick added a new addition to skyblock in 10 minutes on his own server!
About this; Sure, 1pick's server may be fast in rolling out updates, but comparing two servers with significant server size different is not practical. I agree, the roll out speed may not be the fastest, but there are a lot more behind implementing new systems. Exploit testing, performance testing and security check amongst other things. Rolling out updates too fast wil cause issues and exploits. It is much better, server side (and ultimately beneficial to players) if the updates were checked really well; This also prevents the need of a roll back incase an exploit is abused.

- Hypixel can manage themselves perfectly, why can't Invadedlands? It takes them so long to look at appeals, and their excuses are the following: "We all signed up here" "We have a life too" "We are a small bunch" Or some shit along the lines of that. I am sure there are PLENTY of people who would look at ban appeals in their free time that you can trust to do the right thing. Take Gxdda for an example. (By the way sub to Gxdda road to 1k) He has been waiting for his appeal to be accepted / denied for 2+ months. He has so many views on it, and the staff just go "Hm, ok. Well I gotta go and do something else now" and they just leave it be. It's so crazy how bad the management is on this server, and they only accepted like 4 staff.
Similar to the statement above; comparing two servers with different size is impractical. Hypixel has a range of 20k~85k player with a large management team, appeal team and customer support team. Not only that, but the amount of investments InvadedLands can make is no way near to what Hypixel is capable of doing. Now, staff hiring and team expansion was one of the things InvadedLands has been doing in order to improve player experience, but it isn't as easy as it seems. I understand some users has experience in hiring and interviewing on other servers, but I can assure you that it is different from it. InvadedLands receive huge amount of applications; Back when I was an admin, it was not rare to have 5~10 pages of application in one night (1 page has 20 posts). Although I will not go through in-depth details of how the applications are being handled, we first mass-denied ones that does not meet the requirement, and then the way myself and other staff member handled it was not simply looking at the application and deciding; there were a lot more behind handling applications. Team expansion is hard because we need to find the user that is fit for the position, and rushing this step would cause unwanted issues, and there are a lot more into it then it seems from the player's perspectives.

In a way, they are right. Applying for staff position does mean you are making a huge scarifies to your time, but it does not mean they are obligated to be open for support 24/7 and handle all appeals at any time. I agree that there are people who would look at appeals in their free time, but again, refer to my statement before, accepting is not as easy as it seems. Staff is obligated to perform staff duties; doesn't mean they are 100% obligated to be stuck with the pressure at all time; Although they are obligated execute staff duties, they deserve a personal life that should not be interfered with.

Staff can't do their job. I am sorry, but they just can't. No hate towards Nicki, but going back to what I said about "We have a life too" yeah, I call bullshit. You always say that you are not going to study for your exam and instead go on a minecraft server to do your job. Sure seems like some life you got there messing your schedule with this server. The only staff I like on this server is S0V. She does her job perfectly. Back to bad staff, take Hamodi. Hamodi comes on, pvps, and leaves. I see kids spamming their youtube link in chat while Hamodi is pvping. Hamoka. Hamoka is just like Hamodi, except she talks too much instead of pvps. I see kids in chat encouraging to spam skeppy so that he gets online, and she doesn't do jack shit about it except for talk in chat and go "oMg I lOvE yOu ToO!1!" Apex. Apex was a great staff member. That is all I am saying. No complaints about Apex. Bruva. Same thing. He was a great staff. LukeLovesCandy and Lumboc. Same thing for them. They are both too inactive. Lumboc is potato farming on Skyblock trying to beat Techno (Won't happen) and Luke is worried about his OITC skills.
I appriciate your complement on my staff performance. However, I have a few things I'd like to talk about.
Although I am no longer tracking punishments details of each staff anymore, I can say that most punishments are silenced. Just like how you mentioned the issue about Skeppy fan, staff gets spammed even more from those users as well. Whilst being an admin, I was vanished 80~90% of the time, and my punishments were often silenced. This is to prevent staff flames, public shaming and/or mass spam in chat. Although I understand your standpoint on this issue, I am very concerned about the way you judge staff member's based off what you see on the surface; I've stated this varies times, but 2/3 of the staff duties are not visible to players.

That being said, this server needs to get their shit together, or else I am chargebacking my rank and leaving, because I have had enough. I'll see you guys on League of Legends later.
You're making threats of committing fraud and violating the store policy. I'm sorry, but this is selfish; You're expecting change and improvements, but you're making threats of PayPal buyer protection abuse and essentially stealing money off InvadedLands.

I understand your opinion in some ways, and I agree that there are improvements to make on the server. Blacklist appeal is a difficult thing to handle as most players that are blacklisted committed serious rule violations and should not be back on the server. Blacklist appeal is a system to 1. appeal for unjustified punishments and 2. pled guilty and request for a second chance. It is hard to handle as it is difficult to see changes in person in short period of time. Sure, they might seem as they've changed, but you cannot be sure by looking at the surface. Unblacklisting a blacklisted player that pled guilty is like setting a guilty person from prison free in the public; It's not something that can be done easily.

I am happy you see both sides to the story, and I thank you for that. I understand where you're coming from, and that you're an actual staff showing YOUR experience on this server. This helps me see both sides to the story, instead of my own.

dont want a huge argument off of this, but why would he care if he'd get perm banned for chargeback anyway and just left everything be?.. riddle me that. oop. i would want my money back too if id get falsely banned and muted a million times,

but ok, pop off sis

I said this because I would be leaving the server if they did not take my suggestions into consideration. I was not being selfish whatsoever, just stating what I'd do if I decided to leave the server because it was a waste of money for me. It's like returning something to a store because you noticed there was no use for it to you.

Because it is illegal to steal money off another person or company regardless of the reason, and that user agreed to the terms and conditions in store that describes about purchased items and goods.

If it were illegal how come you guys never report this? Not stealing anyway, we payed for it before as well. We are simply returning something

Except the store policy states that purchases are final and we do not perform refunds. The chargeback reasons on PayPals are

  • Unauthorized account access and use
  • Items not received from the seller
  • Items significantly not as described
Your case does not apply to any of them, and assuming that you are going to chargeback anyways, I supposed you'd pick one that seems 'legit' which is false claim.

Hi all,

I am sure the feedback that can be taken away from this thread will be taken into consideration.

Feedback is important, but that feedback has to be constructive and it has to be useful. I know you're all capable of commenting about issues regarding the server (and that might affect your gameplay or enjoyment) without being disrespectful towards the people that dedicate their time to the server. Whilst some members of staff are reimbursed for their hard work, the moderation team are volunteers and we aren't infallible. The same can be said regardless of who does and doesn't get paid, sometimes people make mistakes and not everyone can be available constantly. Development of the server is constantly ongoing and many things have to be appropriately triaged, feature requests take time and development time can't always be immediately allocated to them.

Personal comments about the private lives of our volunteer moderation team aren't appropriate. What you witness from our moderation team, whether it be in-game, via forums or via our Invaded-related Twitter/social media outlets does not represent our entire lives. We all come from different walks of life, whether it be in full-time education at school, university or otherwise - some of us have full-time jobs and some of us have to balance multiple commitments. It's not possible to dedicate all of our time to this server and nobody should expect that of the moderation team.

It's important that whilst giving your feedback, you recognise the above as it will be more conducive to a less toxic and overall more helpful conversation. We do value your thoughts on how we can continually improve the server within our respective limits - that's why things such as the unofficial council Discord server exist.

We welcome feedback, but it has to be constructive and in this case this thread and its contents crosses that line.
